Jesus or "Holy Man" scenario... Suffering from ads?

I've often wondered what a scenario that makes your key unit a diplomat that can 'convert' cities and units to your faith would be like... You start off with Jesus, or other such religious figure and your job is to convert the rest of the players... no attack units in your possession, just a war of diplomats...

Support Apolyton, buy GURPS/ Alpha Centauri

you could make a similar scenario set on economic victory, but use caravans.
