	How best to support 'poly... Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

Actually, it's a question.

I'm probably going to get the "My words are backed by nuclear weapons" t-shirt from the store but was curious as to how much I would actually be helping 'poly.

Also wondering, since I'm a regular amazon.com customer, how I can get my purchases, even if they aren't advertised directly on 'poly to go to the 'poly effort.

If there's already a thread on the topic, please point me in the direction, but I'd like others besides just amazon.com to get my money when I order stuff there and why not have it be 'poly?

you can follow the amazon.com link at the bottom of all pages ("Support Apolyton, buy from Amazon...") when you want to get something from there. that way we get a small part of the sale...

oh and on the issue of t-shirts, the profit of geting a full priced game ($40) via amazon is comparable to geting an item from our store...

Problem with amazon is that they don't ship to where I live. Any chance of striking the same deal with amazon.co.uk??

1. Some of want to directly suport apolyton
2. But some of use do not want Tshirts, mugs, and soorted junk...
3. Nor do some of us want our support $$$ diluted by a a merchant getting the lions share and apolyton getting only a small commission


A. For curmudgeons as described above, the solution is a method to sent money directly to Apolyton.

Wish I'd known that before I ordered Smallville Season 1 for my cousin... oh well, my wife wants a copy of that too...

Because of the re-direct, it's hard to catch the Poly-payoff URL, and vBull turns it into a truncated link on FF's post.

That's the full URL you'll need, gang. Add the letter "h" in front of the two "http" bits and type it all as one word.
Before hitting "go" -- add to your Favorites and label it as Amazon. (Otherwise you'll just end up making the Amazon landing page a Favorite, and I'm pretty sure you've got to use the link for the site to get their cut.)

If this works, it would be just brilliantly subversive...
