Well, I guess that's that. Congrats Arn, a well-fought win. And commiserations Trip - I know you would make a great Consul, I'm not just saying that, but I believe it.  Cheers for standing up tk - I hope you don't feel at all disappointed, as it was very good to actually someone apart from the usual candidates standing up for something. Your vote reflects the fact that no-one really knows much about you, but you WILL do better next time. All of us were new here once. My advice to tk and anyone else who is interested in becoming Consul or a Minister - post around, let people see you are active, and that's all it takes. I'm not actually that great a civ player (although I have picked up a lot whilst in the job), but I am active, and I like Demo Games.
If you can show that you are serious in your intent you will do well.
That's a goodbye from this ex-Consul.  It's kinda sad, but at the same time I know I will still be here as ever. And who knows? I will likely succumb to my urges and run again someday...
