CoD founded Burundy at the coast, 666 from their capital. A completely crappy location, if you ask me, but RCP called for it.
We send Philosophy and The Wheel accepted to CoD. Hope they don't betray us, we expect Code of Laws in return next turn.
We raise the science slider up to 90%. Mathematics ETA 9 turns.
Mike makes 2 steps 3, will mine/road another river grassland there. Dennis and Jonas finish the chop. Dennis is not yet available, Jonas roads the tile they're at. We don't really need a road there now, but sometimes we will and why let another worker make an unproductive step there. Bob enters the grape tile 1 of CdL, will mine/road there next. Irrigation would give nothing under Despotism, and a 2 food, 2 shields, 2 gold tile is a precious thing in the early game.
The Spearman enters Castle de Loimbard. Sir Kay goes exploring south.
Launcelot goes 4, towards the coast again. Sees more mountains. Bedevere makes a step 1, sees desert.
Many laborer shuffles this turn. Spearman in CA ready in 2 turns, Settler in C too, Granary in CX too. That will be one joyful year 1600BC.
We need to discuss our next city location. Candidates are C-633, a potentially productive location in the future, but yet to improve, and CX-88, a gold hill, which would instantly give us at least 3 or 4 more commerce and would be able to use one of CX's irrigated grapes. I'm leaning towards the latter. The former can be founded after more tiles are improved. By all means we need another city name.
25 gold, running deficit -1/turn, Mathematics ready in 9 turns at 1.9.0.
