Well I guess it has been a good run guys! We have defeated the Nazis and secured victory for the Rodina!

Unfortunately, they still occupy parts of the Rodina. It's a shame we will not have a glory of liberating them.

I guess it's time to head to my dacha and visit those beautiful German ladies the Armaments Minister keeps telling me about.

Guys, next time you play this game, at certain point (you can vote on this) you should have somebody play the German side in order to keep it more challenging (yeah, the german side can have a group of players as well). AI is just plain stupid and that is the reason you lose interest on this game.

I think we have reached the main objective (taking Berlin). We now can not loose anymore against the AI. It will only take time to take all the cities, but there are no more real challenges. I think this is why many people have stopped playing. I really liked this DG, but I have very much work for University, and don't want to use my little spare time on playing a game were I can't loose anyway.

I hope that another WW2 DG will be start up in the near future, because I really like playing this part of our history in CIV2 as we get the chance to explore alternative histories. Sadly enough, the first few months, I won't have much time for Civ

If this poll comes out with more people voting to end the game than to continue, than I will wrap up this last turn with the 1st and 2nd Ukranian fronts and then PM Markos to close the forum.

Ben: I think Xin was saying that at random intervals, humans should take over the Germans just for a turn to make it harder on the Soviets, not have a permanent German player.

I propose that if the game is played out, there be a massive consolidation of fronts. If there are 3 or 4 people interested in finishing the game, then we would have 3 or 4 commanders, rather than a dozen halfhearted participants.

Better still, why not let a commander play a turn in its entirety before passing it to the next player (like a succession game)?
