Why not have medals, and insignia, like the other DG?

Well, can we have ranks, at least? you should be a Lt. Gen. and the front commanders are Maj. Gen.s.

Stalin 2: That's a great question. I think that this sort of medal would be given by the Prime minister, and not the Chief of staff. Any medals given to the chief of staff should be given by the Minister of defence, I think.

I like the idea of medals. I still want to be able to give out intra-unit awards and citiations, though.

Interesting idea, though I agree it's to soon to award medals now. But eventually we must reward the bravest and skilled amongst for their outstanding valor and loyalty to the homeland.

Here's how I see medals, obviously open to interpretration.
1. If in the army: COS proposes who should get a medal, and the PM must approve.
2. For COS: Somebody must nominate, and the entire cabinet must by a majority vote approve. Cabinet for this is defined as PM, Defense, Armamaents, Econ, and Immigration.
3. For all cabinet ministers: Either the President or the Knesset should award it. I'm favor of the President nominating, with the knesset voting by majority to approve. (This lets the opp vote as well).

Comments, suggestions , criticisms.

You're one rank above us, a Lt. General.


If you want to, you can appoint additional people in additional roles in the military. For example, an intelligence officer, or a chief of Military intelligence, Who would be a captain, or higher, etc. you can demote people as well, and give them less responsibility.

, the economy minister can get due to all the money he collected for our nation in these hard times , ......

the minister of immigration can get them for bringing ashore the refugees , ......
