Tuberski has said previously that the does not come on-line on the weekends. I usually do not either, but have made an exception with this and the Mafia threads.

A couple of points about this game (prolly make it a little more interesting).

Build a city is too strong of a choice, and a wise one since almost everyone chooses this option which will result in a very long game.

1. Increase the moves to 3 per turn.
a. Firing a nuke uses one move.
b. EM pulse will Deflect nukes and uses 2 moves but deflects 2/3 of incoming nukes in this fashion D1, D2, H3, D4...
c. Building a city uses 2 moves, but since a player will have one move left, he will be forced to fire a nuke.

2. Hide in the bunker to be renamed ABMS defense. This would be a 2 move option, again adding more offense to the mix. I also propose that the system is reloaded every X(5?) turns.

We can't really change halfway though...

Perhaps if we play again we can discuss new rules, but these look pretty complicated.

Building a city isn't so strong. You don't gain anything except +1 life, and if you get attacked that turn you gain one city, but lose 2. To really that über.

People that KEEP building cites are saying "Nuke me!" BTW

(oh, if Tuberski doesn't post orders, then just leave him doing nothing and let's move on.)

In the next game we could maybe have a rule about only baing able to build cities after a turn without any city-building (every second turn)

About Tub: Should we wait the full time for this round, or should I just post the orders now?

Complicated??? All I did was rename some items and add 1/2 a turn to give the defensive player some offsenive options during his turn.

February 2004:

Ever since the beginning of Nuclear War, all nations have been busy trying to build new cities. DrSpike builds Paignton, Sheep builds Perth, Asmodean buils Odense, Nuclear Master builds Calgary and Comrade Tassadar is still mourning over the lost city Salt Lake City, and chose to build a city in remembrance of his first loss, by building the city Novaya Salt Lake City.
Of course new cities wasn’t the only thing going on during this month. There were lots of nuking going on: Both Jamski and ljcvetko sent all their nukes with full power against defenseless Azazel… ok, maybe not all defenseless. With his brand new installed “nuke deflect system” he managed to deflect two of the nukes back to ljcvetko. Although Azazel lost Mars & Venus, ljcvetko got his share of the nuking, by losing Novi Sad & Leskovac. Jamski didn’t go out as the “winner” though. Spaced Cowboy sent two missiles against Jamski, and got two hits: FrankfArt & Hamburg.
Tuberski spent this month enjoying the fireworks from his mansion near San Antonio.

Firstly I built a city because there was no one that attacked members of the alliance. Now that Jamski has been horrendously assaulted of course the response of the alliance will be fearsome, including my own.

Nah... Spikey still has space for a couple cities in western europe, one in Italy, and a couple on the islands of the Mediterranean. But if that's not enough, you can see I thoughtfully gave him Iceland.

Now, if Asmodean keeps on building, he'll have to claim legal rights to Greenland, which I can't believe I forgot to give him right away. Then again, he did get Norway, Sweden, Finland, and a hunk of Russia, so that should be enough for him.
