Now.
I have just gotten several PM's from GS.
I must reiterate that I feel our BEST chance of dealing with BOTH RP and GS is to go forward with my plan of bringing everyone else in on a massive backstab of RP and GS.
Have Lego help ND on Bob, while we use a beachhead that was gifted to us by GS to infiltrate Stormia.
Part of me want's to do it just to see the rest of the team quit upon the shock of that turn.
that said, I have never trusted ND, I make no effort to hide that.
This is a good plan (gang up) to remove them, and by all rights get us a VERY well established empire.
GS is wanting to go through the war with Lego as well, at least they say. I REALLY still don't think they would overtly break such a thing once it was signed. As MZ once said, no one thinks like we do here.
Until ND gives us our share IF they do, I am very wary of them, and would at least consider this option.
I think these are really our only two options, frankly.
I truly think that Lego and Vox will both like the idea of returning Vox to their homeland, and will therefore go along with the plan for removing GS.
Yes, secrecy is a potential problem. This can be curbed by dealing directly with leaders for a short while and only making it 'public' after we have our beachhead. Once we have that, any effort to remove us there only will play into the plan, assuming Lego is on board.
I DON'T see either Lego OR GS sitting back and watching us conquer the other later, and I don't really like the idea of ND/GoW attempting an overseas invasion with a force poking them in the back.
So, I must put forth again that I feel our best course is to openly accept GS' proposal, form a grand alliance to destroy them, return Vox to their homeland, use 'new Vox' to invade Lego, have Vox help us eliminate ND, then declare Vox/GoW the winners.
The two dirtiest, nastiest, lying, cheating teams in the game.
Or we could just crush them.

Hmmm.
I too would prefer to stick with ND.
If it's Lego & Vox vs. GS & RP vs. ND & GoW, then I think we have the best combination.
Negotiating with GS, is like dancing with the devil. I dont trust them. Not one bit. As Vondrack said, they can out micro-manage the rest of us...but have no idea how to project that power. They have made diplomatic blunder after diplomatic blunder...with a Roleplay alignment being thier biggest and worst.
Also, from what Vondrack posted, the two "chatters" basically told GS that we dont have any contract with ND, and we are simply aligned. I doubt GS believe we have a contract and us pushing this line, and them nodding and agreeing, make me trust them even less.
It's alright for them to say..it's history and lets just start afresh, but it doesnt work for me. I need payback & I need rembursement of costs.
Our best solution, is to make them attack. They will lose most and possibly all of their knights. By negotiating with them, they get a small sniff of being able to escape, and they dont attack.
So..I would just tell them like it is.
Get the hell off Bob, if you take RP with you, it's unlikely we can deal anytime in the future.
We trust RP less than we trust GS. We can never deal with a team who carries them around as baggage.
We want all of those catapults that GS gifted to RP. If RP gifts them back to GS, we will never deal.
Once GS is off Bob and RP is destroyed. Then we can deal.
I tire of these GS negotiations, and I tire of them behaving that we should forget the past. They cost us our GA and quite possibly our chance of winning the game. They screwed us over, and they will do it again.
They use exploits while rub our noses in their "honor code". Tell them to p!ss off and return to their disease ridden home. If they want, then they can become our vassals.
And also... I am concerned with this quote

I think we are going to see this happen...
GS get all of RP's cities on Bob.
RP gets Northern Stormia
On RP's turn, they move all of their units from Pampalona except the catapults
On GS's turn, they take Pampalona, capturing the catapults, moving RP's capital to Northern Esonia, and moving all of their Knights into Pampalona.
So we will have GS with 20 catapults & 20 Knights in Pamapalona and control of most of SE Bob.
How do we counter that ?
