Forgive me if this is a bit off topic...

Jay Bee, I have always loved your scenarios! IMHO, they are simply the best there are, especially Age of Thunder. I remember seeing on your site a long long time ago something about a scenario you were working on about the S. American indepence movements and Simon Bolivar; when will that one be released? I can't wait to play it!


If anything ever motivates me to use on of my many ideas for scenarios and actually make one, it will be the inspiration from your excellent scenarios.

Hi GeoDan,

Thanks a lot for your support Re Bolivar, Shaka is correct. It was not really a scenario but rather a mod-pack in the style of Spanish Pride but playing in the Americas. Units, tech tree, wonders etc were all adjusted to match the settings. The mod covered the pre-hispanic world, the colonial age, the independence and latter the XXcent.

I sent it to some people, including Shaka, and all of them suggested it to be released. But I did not "see" it. Too many loose ends in my opinion.

Anyway, one day I had the wonderful idea to compress my hard disk without making security copies first. Guess what happened. I do not have these files anymore. In addition to Shaka I recall to having sent the scen to Stefan, Allard, Jesús M. among others. Perhaps any of them still keep a copy?

This scenario could have been the very very first one to feature Erwan's work, as I had access to his wonderful units well before they became so deservedly popular

Uh, another thing. In my site there is a two-thumbs-up scenario on the Bolivar subject written by Mike Daumen. I strongly advise you to give it a try.

Just tipe in a brecket like this [, put a "Q" (or "Quote" if you want) inside of it, andother bracket ], type the text, and do the same procedure, with the exception of putting a / in front of the q(uote).
Looks like this (Without the spaces of course):

[ Q ] text [ /Q ]

The same works for italics (), bold script and perhaps for font sizes and colours as well, although I haven't tried this out yet. It should also work for *.gif files ([img]), if I remember correctly, but perhaps Jay Bee can explain this better.

About out joint project, I'm not sure wether JB wants me to release the information, I'd wait for his reply on that.
