	help wean Space from the nefarious teat that is geekdom Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

Ive decided that if Im going to do anything with my life I need to quit spending so much time being a geek. Right now I spend most of my free time either surfing 'Poly or playing games, unfortunatly I enjoy this quite much so Im rather reluctant to go off and "socialise" or read these "books" you people speak of. Any suggestions would be welcome.

that would work if it weren't for the fact that we have three computers in the house and they are all my moms. I dont think she would appreciate that.

I think I should also mention to you guys that I live in a village of about 4,000 people. of which about 300 are in my age group, and only about 10 of those are on my "ladder" with 3 of them that are obtainable without working my ass off to get them. So getting laid is sort of a side game to life up here. The social system changes massively when you go from an area of urban sprawl with millions of people to a village.

The obvious solution then is to move.

BTW, congratulations, you're the first American I've ever encountered who does not try to call a village that size a "town".

how many times was it someone outside of your area though? We dont have any roads leading in or out of Barrow, airplane is the only way in or out. Also just about everyone up here is related one way or another and they all have an odd way of caring about it when it matters and forgetting it the rest of the time. So if I piss one person off Im an ass hole the rest of the time Im here. I have to be very very very careful about what I do, especially because Im white. (they dont care much for white people up here)
