I don't think we should even bother talking to them. Let's face it, we meet, they offer peace, we refuse, then they call off the talks and refuse to let us gift them. Furthermore, what makes you all think that Commie will be the first tech on their want list? I'd prefer not to give them alpine troopers if that happens to be first.
Besides, aren't the Germans fundy anyway?
We capture Berlin, they move their capital, we capture their next capital, they move it again. Each time their massive stash of gold goes down (and coincidentally, ours goes up  ), making their remaining cities easier to bribe because they won't have the protection of a huge treasury any more. We then use the rest of the troops to crush the Greeks!
