	How can I trade contacts in Conquest ? :/ Enter the AD-FREE zone

I haven't played Civ3 for a long time. Now I have Conquests. Long ago I could trade contact links with other civilizations. Now I can't. I don't have an option to do so while in diplomacy screen. Was it removed in one of the patches or maybe in Conquests ?

you have to research printing press first, BTW do u hav eConquests in Poland?

And you can't trade maps until Navigation either.

although in some of the scenarios those rules are different.

In fall of rome I can trade maps. I think I can trade contacts as well.

But I can't form alliances against an enemy- Rome for instance . This is one tough scenario without this diplomacy feature. Everyone is attacking me- not Rome.

Jeez.. what was the purpose of such nerf ? By this time I will know each civ personally..

And about Conquests in Poland.. I don't have an original.. yet. Shame on me, but true. I have original Civ3 and couldn't wait for polish release of Conquests And I don't have rich uncle in America to send it to me ;-) So - for now I'm playing 'less-original' version, until full ver. will be available in Poland.

That is the purpose and why I (and others on the beta) pushed for having it and map trading deffered. I always felt you shouldn't be able to know everyone in the ancient era without actually going out and doing some exploring.

I know it was kind of advantage, but.. now it's usually useless.. but I really understand the reasons. I'm just a bit dissapointed, coz I'm not a great player and it was really helpful option in the beginning.

Second reason why I don't like it is because all reports from Epic Games are 'obsolete' for me now.. Of course I can learn a lot of thing reading about those games, but I can't use same tactics as they do. Especially trading world/territory map for techs and GL not working with Wonders..
