Something on the Daily Show reminded me of Apolyton... Full PM-box? Change here!

the other night there was a segment called Robert Corddrey in Watching TV. they showed a clip from some new tv show where two women (i think they said they are the daughters of Hilfiger or something and had quite a lot of money) were riding in a fancy limo. They talked slow (not speed-wise) and one of them said, "I don't understand how people can pay for clothes. Clothes should be free because don't you need clothes? It's a necessity."

just like some leftists on apolyton...

I saw the very same show last night - laughed my ass off.

And yes...I also thought of the leftists here on poly.

This just goes to show the childish, naive mindset of many leftists.

Yes, there is childishness on both sides, but in my (completely unbiased ) opinion there is more on the left as is evidenced by the amount of young people who are drawn to the left.

Maybe it's the decrepit, self centered, old people which are drawn to their respective ideologies that makes the difference.

It's from one of the sounds-the-same-as-every-other-alternative-band-on-the-radio bands. Several of my college friends are banned from the official bulletin boards of this band because they posted these lyrics and asked the band's fans to seriously explain to them what the hell they meant.

For me, it's just another reason to stop listening to the radio.
