I'm cool with HarryH.

I heard that Trip just got a little taste of something and he might not ever come back now that he's had some.

Actually I've been incredibly busy lately, as I stated in the ISDG forum. Moving into a new apartment, end-of-semester stuff to finish (catch) up with, my new roommate having to deal with her romance troubles (which she then has to lay on me until 2am every night, of course) and a slew of other things.

In other words, don't count on me being able to help run things any time soon.

That's fine. I can play for a few more weeks. End of December will be a problem for me. I will be out of town and do not know what internet access I will have. May be only occasional dial-up.

I see we received the next turn this morning. I will see if I can play it during lunch.

I took a look at the turn. Almost played it. Found George to have a problem.

With that horsemen suddenly next to him and the barb galley last turn I suspect there is a barb camp very close by. Since this game has been slightly modded I don't know what our combat advantage over the barbarians is, if there is any advantage at all. With the horsemen having the defensive benefit of the forest and George only having 3 HPs, I do not think our chances of a successful attack are much in our favor. Defending does not look any better. George will get the tile and fortified bonus but the horsemen has 2 attack. Running W woud put us out of the horsemen's have but not out of galley view and we would still be within reach of the horsemen. Any other direction leaves us next to the horsemen. Staying fortified will allow George to immediately heal 1 HP if he survives. Moving to the hill and on to the mountains will give him a good place to heal, and fend off attacks while healing, if he can survive long enough to get there.

The odds do not clearly favor one course of action. Let me know what you want to do. I will play the turn tonight when I get home from work.

I would attack...but if you dont want to, then moving to the hill is next best course.

1500 BC turn played.

I picked the grass.

Sunshina's borders expand. Tab warrior in the east.

Sunshinia produced worker which was named Jeeves.
Sunshinia set to build horsemen. Set citizens to the two shielded grassland tiles.

Jeeves moved SW where he will road and mine the tile.
Mr. English 4 turns to complete mine.
Mr. Peabody 2 turns to complete road.
Mr. Rogers completed his road.
George attacked the barb horseman and won losing no HPs. Found barb camp on hill.
Bro moved N into forest.
Gary moved S.
Nova moved E. Found barb warrior fortified. Dispatched him losing 1 HP.
Comet moved S, N. The barb on the mountain is gone.
MAST units next to Ralph have left. That settler must have been from a hut and is being excorted home.
Ralph moved S.
