	Math/CoL Tech deal with MAST Suffering from ads?

Tech deal with MAST as worked out with Arnelos:

- Send mathematics to them at 1500bc
- When they finish Code of Laws they will send it to us
- We send them 48 gold to make up for the two tech point differential between techs.


If this is approved then I will send a PM to Arnelos so we can get signed approvals so that nothing happens like what happened with Sunshine.

I say no as regards to the gold. Although there is the tech point difference, there is also the time frame difference - we are giving now and trusting them to cough up later.....

The thing about it though is that mathematics is already known to the other two civs that also know MAST. By giving math to them now it offsets the fact that it would actually be cheaper for them than it's 8 tech point nominal cost. CoL won't be known to everyone when they get it so it is a full 10 tech cost. It would have been an uneven trade favoring us...therefore offering them the tech early.

Also, I very much doubt they're going to screw us over, which was the other incentive for us not to trade immediately. We are far apart and are not going to war anytime soon, and MAST is all too aware they may need help when LL comes knocking on their door with Legions. I think we can definitely trust them for the moment, especially if we seem to be open to an alliance.
