First Ladies of United States Enter the AD-FREE zone

Ok guys -- who do you think was the most influential First Lady of the White House?

You can choose however you want to decide -- either on social influence, political influence, diplomatic influence, and so forth.

Or, if you really feel up to it, choose a First Lady for each of the above, on who was most influential.

Elanor Roosevelt.

No, I take that back. Mrs. Wilson. She did the Prez's job while he was ill in 1919.

I'd say Eleanor Roosevelt.

While Mrs. Wilson was running the show for a while, she didn't get much credit for it, and was thus not as influential I think.

Hillary Clinton

Maybe with the exception of Eleanor, I don't think as many jokes have been made about a first "lady"

Ok -- so Eleanor Roosevelt is an obvious choice.

Any influential first ladies that have too often been disregarded or not appreciated??
