I have know about the warping trick to level 8. I learned that trick right out of a stragy guid for Maro 3. I just had a hard time passing the 8 level and geting to the castle .

Looks awesome... though I never liked Mario. Now flame me. This kind of a game was never my thing, and till better games arrived, I generally hated computer games... but for an adventure arcade, I didn't like Mario, heh.

But the timing in that video is indeed awesome .

how many countless hours must have been spent perfecting the timing, and doing it over and over and over again due to tiny little slip ups? there is NO room for error there.

Actually, I think he may of missed an enemy or two during those 1-up sprees. Seemed that he sometimes went for a target and came up short.

If it wasn't for that, I'd be saying it was some kind of programmed macro.

also, when he got his third card (at the end of the level when you get a star, mushroom, or flower) he got a mushroom when he probably could have gotten (and probably was trying to) get a star.
