Anyone want to go for a beer? Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

MtG and I were thinking about going for a quick beer sometime on Saturday and I thought I'd ask if anyone else in the San Diego area would like to come. I know MtG is married with children so it's not going to be any big long thing; just a couple of beers and maybe a bite to eat. Still it ought to be fun so maybe a few of you other locals might want to come hang out with us for a while.

My boss does it with an internal GSM modem, just a little card with an antenna attached. But it will probably cost you a couple of 100 $ or so (the hardware, I mean).

I have enough bonus miles on my frequent flyer card to get to LA for free, then it's just a 30 minutes commuter flight to SD. But I guess my wife would have second thoughts about that.
