the faqs are ok, but the forums are.....


that said, I did find the answer to a nefarious FF8 bug (something to do with XP) on the forums.

I can't say I've been to the forums themselves in quite some time.

I just noticed it the other day- looking up stuff for Planescape Torment- another game I had trouble with at the beginning. Still not finished with it- I'm playing conqeusts all the time now.

I meant to check out the forums, but haven't got around to it. Nothing really stood out anyways. Nothing beats poly

i go to gamefaqs quite often. . . for any game that i'm playing, to look up faqs or codes or whatever. . . but i've never been to the forums.

While there are some talented and well spoken individuals there, most of the forum members are children. What do immature children do? They brag and talk smack.

If it weren't for the few who have contributed some very helpful guides to games I would never go there.

Someone once said to me "Check out the GAMEFAQ forums!" so I did... Man, never going back. Filled with "What graphics card" (we get one or two, there were 5/10 at once) and "Will my comp play x" threads. Nothing useful.
