	Land Mark Names Remove this text

I have started a thread on the Main Game Board consernig the hording of all the Land Mark Names by other factions. It looks promising that these names will be redistributed among all factions which would give us access to several. I would like to use this thread to start discussing names we want to use for Land Marks. We can also name things that will not nessarily be given land mark names. For example what is the name of our Continent? (I recomed Cydonya or Trantoria).

Some Obvious bodies of Water that need naming is the Gulf that Zetaris is In (And Gulf, Or Gulf) and the long channel of water too our west that seperates us from the Belivers (And Straits, Or Straits) along with the Large body of water northwest of Pi Square.

Also we should begain a thread for discussing the Re-naming of PEACE bases, I favor giving them names that are sugjestive of their old names yet Cycon Oriented.

I'll name the landmarks "And Straits" and "Or Gulf' (or the opposite ) next turn if there are landmarks free.
To what do these continent names refer? (Was Trantor that Asimov planet, or is it that of StarWars? )Should Cydonya be Cyconya, or is that "d" on purpose? In any case, the names sound fine.

As for renaming PEACE bases, I'd discuss that in the base naming thread.

Yes Trantor was the name of the Galactic Capital planet completly covered in City in Asimov's Foundation series, Lucas ripped off the idea and called it Corusunt in StarWars.

Cydonya is the name of the region on Mars ware that "martian face" thing was, I am not shure if I spelled it right but yes the d should be their. No offense by I think some name thats just a form of the word Cycon would be kinda lame, even though we are the controling power I dont think we would name the Continent after ourselves. Whole Coninents need nice short Original names, anyone have other name ideas, we could just make a a new word out of thin Air too if we want?

I think I might start a thread on the Main Boards asking each Faction what the name of their Continent is. Ofcorse we have to come up with the AI continent names. Belivers would be New Zion, and the Angels Island would be Avalon. Its no Big deal to just name these things because we wont be telling anyone WARE anything actualy is.

IIRC in the chat Impaler and I agreed to call our southern subcontinent Cydonya, the core continent with most of our bases Trantor and the NE Peninsula Solaris. What do others think about that?
Also, how about recalling Bird Island to Phenix Island and Sea of Indecision to Sea of Decision when we get the chance?
