it was in both a column from mid 2002 and in her most recent book, treason, near the end.

this is precisely why i cannot respect her. all throughout slander she alleges that only liberals commit smear tactics like that, and that conservative insults at least have an intellectual point; however, she engages in the exact sort of behaviour she supposedly decries.

linking norman mineta, who is american-born and suffered in the internment camps, with the bataan death march, committed by the imperial japanese, is exactly the same sort of smearing argument that so many race-baiting african american politicians use when they find a white person who doesn't agree with them: white == kkk.

in that book, ann coulter equates japanese american norman mineta with the japs/nips.
