Site running slow? Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

I have been visiting over the last couple of days after a lengthy break. It is very noticeable that Poly now runs terribly slowly. In loads slowly and getting from page to page or from thread to thread in one of the forums involves a lot of patience, a lot of (usually failed) attempts to refresh and a lot of re-opening the site after the screen has frozen up completely.

Conceivably what I experience is to do with my particular connection but I get it at home and from my computer at work so I don't really think so.

I thought I would mention this because only the most commited visitor would dedicate the time and patience which a visit currently requires.

I think it must be your connection. Except for yesterday evening/night(GMT+1), when I got the server busy(or something like that), I have had no problems for some time now. It generally is faster in my experience.

Maybe all the pop ups give the fire wall at work indigestion.

Not sure why I should get problems at home, though. It's quite a fast machine and a normally reliable broad band connection.

Anyway, as it is just me this thread can be deleted.

Increase the size of your Attachments

It does slow down if you are unlucky enough to catch it at the wrong times. Fortunately I haven't noticed any long periods of slowdown recently.

Sometimes I get that message that tells me the server is busy and registered users get priority (I am registered dammit! ), but apart from that it's ok.
