While nothing's wrong in being a lurker, what we really need is dedicated players (especially builders). We have enough lurkers, I think. We have 18 members and perhaps 6 or 7 of them are (more or less) active. Every member of our team has a word in every decision and even the lurkers can vote. So, at some point, it is a bit dangerous to let too many lurkers in. It could be possible that warmonger lurkers to overtake Lego
But then, it is not my decision. I was just trying to explain why things could go wrong from your PoV.
