I like Togas, and I like Trip, but we need a full time Consul right now.

I voted for Trip.

Togas, you would have my vote and my support in just about any other election.

I hope we get a large turnout in this election, even if Trip wins it. The election numbers give us a good idea of how many people (other than the obvious) are involved in the game.

We probably should have had an abstain option for that reason.

In any case, I am serious about being a Consul and hope to get some more votes before this thing ends, but I am confident that if either Trip or I win this election, Apolyton will have an excellent leader.

Exactly. Even though are both good candidates, saying so doesn't mean you should not vote or have to choose one over the other. You have to make a choice. On the other hand, if you think neither are good candidates then you should have run yourself.

+1 for Trip. Hats off to Togas and his outstanding work as FAM, but I think it is about time for Trip to become Consul. Remember that he lost the very first elections, probably due to his failure in PtWDG? I think he proved us in the meantime not only that that was an accident but also that he has learned from it. We've all been able to see in the past few months his real capabilities as civ player, dedicated teammate, and, why not, leader. Trip:
