Yep. Once again, it has shown failure. It lucked out last year, but it has messed up continually.

At least then we wouldn't have this fallacy of the 'true' national champion, which the BCS was supposed to provide. Before that we knew the 'national championship' was a subjective measure which a bunch of people decided... it'd be kinda like picking which team is the 'best' in any other sport before the playoffs start.
