Sorry about the delay, I was at my mother's house. I could have brought my laptop to play the round, but I'd have had to use her dialup AOL account to check my email. *shudder*

Gah, I completely meant to ask this, and followed the instructions for the swappable patched/unpatched, then forgot about it went ahead and played my turn patched anyways.
I played an SP game out the other day that I had started before the patch, and didn't notice any ill effects. The only problem I could gather that you'd run into is when you load the save, you have pre-patch data in there, but it will eventually be overwritten. Am I correct in this?
I can't imagine anyone has corruption at this point in the game, so it probably doesn't matter. We should all settle on 1 version to use, though.
