... from Burstnet.com is almost enough to give a person seizures. It's the one purporting to have discovered viruses, worms and whatnot on one's computer.

I'm cheap, I don't want to have to pay, and I can't save Paint files as JPEGs.

So, unless you have a fetish for BMPs, be thankful I use a program.

It's really, really easy.

In the save as window, click on the save as type dropdown list... it's one of the options.

It depends on what version of Paint you have. Older ones, in like Win98, and I think NT, don't have that option. While in, say XP, you can do that.
