I don't know what you mean, either. The map editor is pretty straight forward, and I cannot remember any 'execute' command in it.

*** 2. Installing/Compiling ***
1 bunzip2 the patch.
2 in your freeciv source directory execute
patch -p1 < <...>/civworld-1.14.1.diff-against-freeciv
where <...> is the path to the patch.
3 in the freeciv source directory execute
./autogen.sh && make
you can give your normal options to ./autogen.sh (generally you won't need
any), but you must compile the gtk 1.2 client (which it does by default)
_and_ you must also compile the server (or at least its object files).
i don't understand this

Compiling civworld in Windows is definitely not something you want to do if you are a newbie.
Sorry. It is just hard. I don't think anyone has ever done it before.

yes i have tried altering the scenarion maps and it does work but it is VERY tedious and im not sure about all the terrain squares but this what ive got so far is:
a = arctic
t = tundra
m = mountains
g = grassland
f = forest
s = marshes
p = plains
h = hills
im not sure about jungle and desert but there probably j and d

I understand how to edit terrain. But is there a way to put rivers, huts, souces, start locations...on a certain place or you can only write a number how many huts, specials,...will be in map?
