Ok Im going to post UN reports here. Please dont post here isif you want to start a conversation about something please start another thread because when we get mod powers in here I would like to top this Thread.

The administrators for the game with be Eudiclus, Bootstoots, and Strider. Eudiclus is the administrator for CDG.

Decision 2.

This will be an Epic Game. The decsion was finalized today. 9 out of ten teams voted and all 9 voted Epic.

This is an overall report on the current number of teams and how we are going to play the game(s)

In a nutshell there are 10 teams in the IDG.

Signed Up Teams:
1.) CDG
2.) Civ3 Players Ladder
3.) Civ3 Brasil
4.) Gamecatcher
5.) Civ Gaming Network
6.) Civilization Webring (German)
7.) CivFanatics Center
8.) Civ3 Duel Zone
9.) Apolyton
10.) Batrachos team (French)

We start out with 2 games of 5 teams each.

The 3 remaining survivors of the first two games proceed to the final game. So the second game will be composed of the top 6 teams.

Being discussed but not finalized yet is when do the first games STOP, general consensus seems to be when the game gets to the point of only three teams left. As opposed to playing til the end game.

The other thing being discussed but not finalized is lets say two teams want the same CIV, then just put them into the two different games, so there is a possibility that two teams can have the same Civ.

Another thing being discussed is whether both initial maps will have the same settings or not.

The issues at the UN will be dtermined by each team has one vote. Just how that vote will be decided is still being polled. What I mean is will there have to be a simple majority, 2/3rds vote, etc to determine what wins in a poll. The poll for that is already up in our forum HERE!

In the next 18 hours or so Ill be setting up all the map setting polls (or at least some of them, our admins are NOT totally organized yet )

So within the next 18 hours start looking for polls and vote (Dont wait for Petes sake MWIA! )

BECAUSE there maybe a very fast turn around, 48 hours or less.

There is still some confusion at CDG over exactly what we should poll, when and in what order, I guess thats what I get for hanging around with a bunch of kids

So you have been warned, the polls are starting shortly. PLEASE DONT MISS THEM! (Especially you MWIA )

Edit: It looks like we will have about three days, so they will go up by about 1800GMT on friday the 13th and close on monday, so you have been warned, get ready to do map setting polls over the weekend

Ok we have voted in the UN and the polls for map settings close tomorrow.

After quite a bit of prodding by me, they FINALLY posted SOME results last night, Ill get those up today.

But there is still some confusion over HOW the UN will make decisions. Complicated by the last time I checked not all teams has actually voted in that poll yet even though it is past due.

Keeping track of who is doing what and where over at the UN is getting to be a full time job. And the lust to go poll crazy on everything is being driven by our "good friend" from GCA.

My guess is from the activity level at the UN the last couple of days and also from a statement Euclidus (Head Admin Guy) made that we wont be seeeing much more movement till sometime after XMASS and maybe the New Year. I guess one or both of the other admins have disappearred for the holiday.

Which brings me to everyone have a wonderfull Holiday season!

Well we finally got a decision!

The polls at the UN will be decided by a SIMPLE Majority.

Also right now we are working on the agreed to rules/exploits/cheats list, so please visit that thread.

And the next poll being polled right now is the allowed changes to the map by the admins so please visit that thread and vote. I have to vote at the UN by Monday the 5th NLT 2200 GMT so please vote this weekend if possible.

We voted on our preferred timeframe to play it was: 0001-0600 GMT

We need to work on the cheats/ exploits/ rules list and

We need to work on our Civ Choice list.

These issues are being brought forward at the UN.

We are also beginning to discuss how to split the ten teams into two groups.

The winner for allowable map modifications is

MINIMAL

That probably means unless a team is placed in a jungle or a swamp we wont have any map changes.

It was 6 to 4.

6 votes for minimal modifications
4 votes for moderate modifications

You mean like Apolyton in the first ISDG I realize I am not supposed to post in this thread, however, once all these things are finalized I want it to be put into one big post in a new thread for the InfoCenter.
