I forfeit to Taian.

We set up with him as Inca and me as Celts. It looked for a bit as if I escaped another close start. Not far enough...

About turn 18 a warrior met one of those Demon Scouts. I neglected to recall that they have attack and defence values. *Jump*... *lose* Ah well...

Recall all warriors to capitol. The first one gets back in time to defend, and lose to the Demon Scout...

1st Settler builds city. Start Archer. Chase Demon Scout away (he got to retreat). Finish archer, go back for capitol. Win to another Chasqui, but hurt. Withdraw to second city. More Demons show up. They attack. They win. Storey ends there.

I broke the 30 turn peace rule, and I lost. Therefore, not only do I lose, I forfeit in the case that Mark might decide for some sadistic reason to make me want to try my 'luck' again.

PS. We are playing another match, but as a freindly. Of course, this is the worst start I have ever seen in MP. A close contender for SP too.

I am going now to try to find the 'curse me' file that must have come with my personal copy of C3C.

so, has this tournament died in it's infancy? round III should end within approx. 15 hours and i see most of the 2nd round games havn't even finished (or at least been posted).

i really do hope these games are completed. the AARs are wonderful to read

I think people, including myself, have just been really busy lately. The Hollidays do that to you. It's like you need a break from the Holliday's just to recover!

Regretably it looks like I have to withdraw from the tourney as I am without a broadband connection for the next 17 days. A combination of busy lives and 8 hour time zone difference made this match a bit difficult to organize.
