I got my vaccination like a month and a half ago and now were all finding out that it was the wrong type...... if you do get the flu, is it reasonably cureable?

Yeah, is the short answer, thoguh cured is the wrong word. You'll just have to sick it out as antivirals are rather ineffective against influenza.
Influenza is a nasty bug and will leave you bed ridden for 4-5 days and feeling generally crappy for about 2 weeks, but as long as your immune system is not weak due being very young, very old, having AIDS or immunosuppressive drugs you'll live.
This Wujan strain seems to be mostly killing young kids. They will have never been exposed to Influenza before and as such are probably more susceptible than most of us.

I'm not in the best shape but I'm not in awful shape heh.
So if I get sick odds are VERY good I'll feel like @&!# but I"ll live?

Three of the kids who died in Colorado had definite risk factors. I wonder if some of the apparently healthy kids might have been children of very poor families or migrant workers and therefore not living in healthy conditions.
