	The 2003 Polys for Movies (Apolyton Movie Entertainment Awards) Lose 30 kilos (of popups)

It's that time again (well, it would be that time again, if I had done this before, but just so it sounds like it actually has some depth to it, I'll include the word again.)

The 2003 Polys have arrive

It's your turn to choose who deserves awards, and who deserves awards for SUCKING. These are to award the best and worst movies of the year.

Here's how voting works: you will pick your top three nominees in each category. You will then Instant Message, e-mail, or PM them to me (preferrably PM). Voting begins TODAY and ends 12:00 AM EST Christmas Eve. The four top-voted nominees in each category will be announced on December 29th. At that time, a second round of voting will take place, with ONE vote per person per category. Voting will last until 12:00 AM EST January 3rd. Winners will be announced January 4th

Now, here's the catch: In order to make voting in the first round interesting, you must place your top three in each category IN ORDER. First place will receive 3 votes, second place 2, and third place 1.

If you e-mail or instant message them to me, please include your user name. You may vote only once.

So that I am not accused of swaying results, I will show the results, complete with poster's name, to monolith_94, mLeonard, and whichever moderator posts here first. That way, if you think there has been some mistake, you can check with one of them to see if I correctly marked your vote.

Right...you do NOT need to vote in EVERY category. If a certain award doesn't receive any votes, no award will be given.

Q Cubed: What do you mean Golden Stalin? It's obviously a Golden Banana (which, coincidentally, is the name of a strip club near my house).

term originates from "happy days". iirc? as i understand it, there was an episode where the fonz jumps a shark, hence the term.

Americans also know nothing about non-American movies, non-American worst actors and non-American anything.

And since most posters on the OT are American there isn't any sense for us non-Americans to take part in voting since all winners will be American anyway...

Hueji - The reason I included non-American Music is because there seems to be a huge contingent (American and otherwise) of posters who listen to International music, therefore it was included in its own seperate category.
