Power Ranking:
France fights England while getting stabbed by Italy, while England fights Germany with the assistance of Russia, while Germany fights valiantly while getting stabbed by the Austrians, who are also stabbing the Russians while their Italian allies help Russia finish off Italy. God!
#1 Austria: Despite getting a bit to greedy in Bavaria, the Austrian domination of the
Balkans is quite impressive, and the Austrians look prepared to make gains at Russia’s
expense. Unless Germany and Russia bury the hatchet, Austria should do fine.
#2 Italy: The naval component of what seems to be the board’s best alliance. A bit
strung-out and those French defenses will be hard to crack, but very good for Italy. Just
make sure that Austria doesn’t build any fleets...
#3 (this was a bit of a hard decision) England: With France getting stabed and Russia and
Germany getting bruised, it looks like England will finally have a chance to assert herself.
#4 Russia: Russia still has a lot of SCs left, and it’ll be hard for the Austrians to drive deep
into Russia. Supporting Germans back into Denmark in exchange for the return of Warsaw
could work.
#5 Germany: And things were looking so good for Germany! Oh well, gotta love them
multi-front wars 
#6 France: France should stick around for a while, but I don’t see him growing above 5
SCs.
#7 Turkey: Just one more year.
