Completed research:
None.
New units and improvements:
GoEP builds Swordsman, starts next.
Workers:
Max goes 322, into CdL. Will irrigate CdL-3 next turn. Mike roads at CoC-21 to speed up the next settler. Bob and the guard go 2 and leave CoD territory. Dennis will follow next turn.
Military:
Sir Robin beats a very brave retreat into CoC, will be its city/happiness guard. New Swordsman goes 441 to C-7. I don't want Monkey to see him in case they open an embassy. One of the fortified Swordsmen from C-2 goes 222 into CdL. Will go forth to the worker party as second guard. Too many barbarians down there. Our first combat occured. More precise the second, since Sir Kay was ambushed between the turns by a barbarian Horseman. Combat record:
- Sir Launcelot (3/3 hp) attacks barbarian warrior (2/2 hp), wins, 2/3 hp left.
- Sir Kay (2/3 hp) attacks barbarian horseman (2/2 hp), wins and gets promoted, 3/4 hp left.
Barbarian camp dissolved. The attack nets us 25 gold. Our k-niggets fought outstanding. Good thing Robin wasn't there.
Exploration:
Sir Bedevere goes 8, reveals the last black tile, a shielded grassland.
Diplomacy:
A note to CoD is in preparation to give notice of the Swordsman passage and to clarify the research situation.
Economy:
Little changes. Settler in C ready in 1 turn, as well as Worker in CX and Swordsman in CA. Barracks in SC ready in 3 turns. The city is size 2 (4 shields) now and will produce Spearmen and Catapults.
Finances and research:
42 gold, -4/turn at 0.10.0. Currency ready in 3 turns.
