Nope. I considered it a ripoff and a downgrade from Civ II.

(Now you can see why I sometimes get really confused in these sections and take forever to figure out what you guys are really doing ... what makes it even more amusing is that I vote in just about all the demogames across the forums every now and then even though I hardly have any idea what's really going on... oh I THINK I know what's going on since I have played Civ II since 1996 and Civ I nonstop since 1994... but Civ III is an entirely different beast to me.

That partially explains my low-posting/participation rate here

Well...since building the Collosus is out, we need to start to plan now what wonder we plan to build to satisfy the Com trait.

Best shot: Magellan's

It may not be the most desirable (may shave a turn or two going to the other continent, but not much else) but will have a better chance or getting it as GWT no longer needs it for GA puposes.

Most Desirable: Smith's. We would get considerable cash savings is addition to fulfilling the Com GA requirement. The question of whether we can get in a position to build it ot not is very open-ended at this point.

All the others (besides the Lighthouse): Much too late in the game.

Let's not even consider the Lighthouse until we have satsified the Ind part and if it become obvious that building the Megellan's and Smith's is out.
