	Goodbye to Spain Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

Gentlemen, we are all dead.

All of us who holed up in Pamplona for the last great fight. We fought. We lost. Spain is no more.

The Togas men are no longer. The women have been sent overseas. Perhaps a new generation of Togas will be born to rule Spain again, but for now we need to decide who's alive (if anyone) and who's in charge of the Spanish refugees.

Please post your thoughts and your laments.

This is the lowest day in our history.

	Avatar Enlargement: We've got the solution

In the last chat with several members of GS, Octavian X, Cort Haus, Asleepatthewheel, I informed them about the consenus Arnelos and I then had concerning our future.

The GSers told me that they would like us have the north and they the south of Estonia. Then we could make the north productive and they the south. Together we could catch up with the others while they are warring among themselves.

This status will go on for about an era and then we will reopen the borders to the world and try to gain victory over those that have survived World War II (This was World War I).

We can be of REAL USE to GS. Having us in the north will make speed with which we as alliance can grow higher and thus better. Having us in the north spares an FP.

So what we have to do now is:

Produce units in our new cities and place them on the shores so neither GoW, nor ND can invade Estonia.

Togas, will you remain our king or is the entire dynasty murdered by the invading Riders? [ooc]Do you still want to be king or is it kind of over for you? Whatever decision you make, if it were up to me, you would remain king![/ooc]

I will remain King, but with a new character, a child of the Togas clan born in North Estonia who will only know stories of our lost homeland.

However, we may now want to switch to Republic. We don't have the units to support and for research purposes, Republic will serve us better.

If we go Republic, the team should be governed in a more democratic form. Perhaps a true Senate.

All that is left is a distant cousin who fled early to north Estonia. He is but 17 years old.

The Calamari line is ended. The flower of Spanish society, the squiddermen of yore, have faded away like melting snow as the spring thaw comes. The sword that the smith Dejon had wrought for them so many centuries ago is a prize of the fat Caliph of Arabia...who apparently slipped and took a dive on it while attempting to handle it with his greasy paws. His successor had the battlefield scoured to find the last Lord Calamari, but he was nought. His body rests not here nor anywhere. God has given, and God has taken away.

Lord Calamari, grievously wounded by seven arrows while defending the curtain walls, stumbled away as he saw with horror a catapult's contents crush the life from his two sons. "My sons are spent!" he cried. "My line is ended!" He rent his garments and receded into the smoke of the battlefield. They say that the Lord God snatched up that great man and that this is the cause of his body's disappearance. If so, a great miracle has been wrought before us.

A nephew, young Tristan Calamari still lives. He, a young lad of but sixteen years, was placed on the vessel to Estonia though it was his desire to stay and die with his father, his uncle, his brothers, his cousins, and all of Pamplona. Perhaps, if God is merciful, he shall be spared to reach an age whereupon he may prove to be a good servant of the king. If not, that family is totally extinguished and the tears of Heaven shall wash and cleanse this Earth as the rain falls...
