Welcome comrades to this, the glorious 19th edition of PRAVDA - the official newsletter of the Human Hive. Today's edition is published by the Commision of Foreign Relations, and will be an abbreviated one to cover the upcoming elections for Planetary Governor! All hail to the glorious Chairman Voltaire and the members of the Peoples' Congress!

Yes, people of Planet, the Hive now has the communication links of all those who once journeyed on the Unity to this place we now call home. This is truly a triumph, as now we step closer to the day when all of Planet, and humanity, will be united.

The Hive's Commission of Foreign Relations, following protocol set by United Nations standards, is calling an election for Governor of Planet. For the convience of the voting factions, we present this list of factions and their number of votes:

Hive: 61

University: 30

Believers: 37

Cycon: 23

Peace: 33

Drones: 49

Data Angels: 43

We hope this election procedes fairly and smoothly. The Commission wishes the best of the luck for the candidates.

IIRC standard PBEM rules say players should post their planetary council votes publically.
Have I been correctly informed that these are the current votes?:

Hive: Hive 61
Drones: PUT 30
Abstain: Angels, Believers
Or has the population and votes changed already in the meantime?

After a few casks of rum, we pirates decided that throwing dirks at pictures o' the 2 candidates was the best way to vote (hic!)

Most o' them dirks landed on that Snoopy looking character, soz I pushed the button labelled 'Drones' ......... or mebbe Beretta did that, as my memory isn't too clear... (hic!)
