so... do you think there will be another major terrorist attack in the US? will it be bigger than 9-11? or is the government just crying wolf?

The government just reacts to the info they receive, and as far as we know the gov. has been wrong a time or two

The gov did a good job at creating this color rating system. Now, IMO, the would be "terror" or fear of attacks is down played because we just see it as a traffic light.

I don't doubt that there will be other attacks, not on the scale of 9-11, though. It's simply too difficult to truly secure such a large geogrphical area.

eventualt there will be another terrorist attack, and another and another, and eventualy there will be one bigger than 9/11.

and i think we're on high alert because its the holidays, and if Mommy doesnt tell us to look both ways before crossing the street we'll throw a fit after we get hit by the bus.

Besides, wasn't rumour about a deal between Arafat and the US in order for the palestinian terrorist organizatios not to attack american targets in exchange for "leniency" by the US a long time ago?

It wouldn't be surprising that such a deal has been struck between Al Qaeda and the US too. But then Al Qaeda maybe doesn't control all its "subsidiaries".

eventually there will be an attack worse than 9/11. It is inevitable. The terrorists will never relent. In the end, they will win. But that may take a few hundred years. We may not have an attack as bad as 9/11 in 10 or even 50 years. But eventually it will happen.

Do I expect an attack worse than 9/11 in the next week or two? No.

he wouldn't do that until the end of his second term like Clinton.

You have to face it, eventually they will be released. Hillary Clinton will be elected in 2008. At the end of her second term in 2016/2017 she will release the prisoners. But that's not too bad. 15 years in prison for being a terrorist is a good punishment.
