	The Reagans hooplah Support Apolyton, pre-order Civilization IV

Okay, after all the fuss, I finally saw the movie on Showtime.

All I have to say is:

What the @#$^%*&! was the problem with the Republicans? This film is perhaps the best propaganda piece for Reagan you could have! It makes him a tragic hero of near-Shakespearian proportions. I was liking the guy after the movie!

Seriously, the movie is actually pretty good, and I think it's pretty flattering to the Reagans. Sure, it shows them as less-than-perfect, but they are human, aren't they? If anything, its inaccuracies were in Reagan's favor, as ANY bad aspect of his political career was presented as a well-intentioned man being manipulated and misled by the people who surrounded him.

Brolin's performance, btw, was brilliant. I mean, he IS Reagan in the movie. I can only think he'd be destined for an Emmy if it weren't for the whine-fest from the GOP.

I'm a Republican, though I have never seen it, I always enjoy poorly made, made for TV movies that misconstrue political or even public figures in a bad light, even if I like that figure... Martha Stewart, David Letterman come to mind (I hate Martha, but that TV movie was still funny)... They should of aired it... Don't blame the republican for it not getting on, blame the Jews they own media after all

That's not quite what he says...he's saying that they've brought it upon themselves. While it's still not a great thing, it's not the same as "I want them to die." Considering his attitudes towards homosexuality, I don't doubt that it's accurate. And it certainly presents Nancy as being a very compassionate person, which ain't exactly something she's normally known for.
