I admit I have never seen Peter Pan Enter the AD-FREE zone

I feel good coming clean about that.

Anyways it opens Christmas Day in U.S, England, and New Zealan (wonder why they left out Australia?)

What's it about. And what exactly is tinker bell.

Even when I was a little kid, Peter Pan seemed gay . Not that it's a bad thing. But being as I'm not gay myself, I cannot identify with gay-like characters.

So what's Peter Pan all about. Is it real or fantasy?

The Disney version is a lot more cuddly than the original Barrie story, which is a bit like "Lord of the Flies" on acid.

You ain't missing much, Dissident.

The Disney version is something of an embarrassment now. Their portrayal of Indians is truly cringe-worthy, even to the most staunch anti-PCer.

Tired of ads?

"Hook" was sufficiently satirical to be interesting but most versions of the story are so sugar coated as to be indigestible to anyone who is either over the age of three or not terminally deluded about human nature.

Hurrah for Peter Pan! Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

To my knowledge, the only "Peter Pan" to be televised was in the mid '50's, with Mary Martin as Peter Pan.
This doesn't count "Hook" where a grown Pan was portrayed by Robin Williams.
Tinker Bell is a pixie. A mischievous fairy.

How many movies have there been of Peter Pan? Anyway, after searching abit, I was thinking of the 1953 musical with Mary Martin, that was made into a movie.

you aren't missing much Diss...

Peter Pan is a pedoophile fantasy... a little boy running around in tites, hanging around in a motley crue of sorts with other supple young boys. And an evil pirate.

plus, why do you think Jacko named his ranch "Neverland"?
