	Official Poll: Do we offer EQ4 to CFC? Browse Apolyton AD-FREE

Yes means that we offer it ONLY after we have built a settler out of EQ to disband it.

No means that we never give it to them and EQ remains our city and one of our two access points to the inland sea.

This poll will remain open for 48 hours as per the Constitution.

This poll will be binding as it will become law.

No, we do not have to do this. CFC is going to do what they are going to do regardless of whether we give it to them or not. Contrary to what certain FAM members believe, giving CFC EQ4 will not buy us any time. IF they are to attack, then they will attack. If we do not give them EQ4 and they had no plans to attack, this will not make them more likely to do so.

One thing I would not mind is that we will tell them that they can have EQ after they have Navigation.

I would like to vote "No", but I am willing to compromise and let them have EQ4 after we have musketmen & canons....which isnt an option.
And according to the FAM...thats just as bad as not giving it to them at all.



I guess "No" is the closest ??

We can always have another poll at a later time to supercede this one. While this becomes law, there's nothing that says another law can't be created after this one.

We really need to iron out for people how an official poll should be worded to add clarity to just what it means. Voting "yes" in an official poll (or Bill) means that you vote in favor of whatever the poll/bill is suggesting to be done. Voting "no" merely means you do not vote in favor of THAT proposal, but could remain open to OTHER proposals.

Perhaps its also time for an amendment?

Also, I think that official polls should require a discussion thread first on the EXACT wording that the official poll will be over so that people have time to be familiarized with the full situation and what the poll actually encompasses.

As being as late as I am means I will likely have no impact on this decision, why would we want this? Is this something CFC was really pushing for in conjunction with the treaty each team is proposing to its members or is it just a sweetener from our side? If we have got as far as the treaty without this I would have voted no - I see no need for it. If it is/was vital for that agreement, then yes.
