If I do lose the Consular elections, I'd like a spot somewhere in the FAM. As I'm sure some PTW ISDG members can testify, I do have a good amount of diplomatic experience.

Ok, I would like to apply for MOF, but can somone please clarify exactly what this includes:

From the Consitution:

Is that like what's happening in the game world, and like maps and major events etc. ?

The Minister of Information is responsible to provide everyone with "basic info" about the game. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Turn reports (a report of what happened during the turn);
  
• Intelligence gathering (for example, report the F11 screen of the game);
  
• Maps (screenshots of our position);
  
• An overview of the teams in the game;
  
• An overview of 'current state of affairs' about the team - for example, a list of government officials;
  

Information is vital in a Democracy Game, since the people need information to make decisions, and therefore, the Minister of Information has a big responsability.

Preferably, the Minister of Information receives the turn before and after the team (Consuls) play it, so he can analyze and post about it.


BFM, you seem like you know alot about the MOI position. Would you like to run?

Put me down for a FAM slot.

Im currently running for counsel but would like to work in this ministry if it doesn't work out.

Even if it does work out I won't be a counsel forever, and after I serve (if I do) this is the ministry I would prefer to hang my hat in.

Sorry for the confusion Beta The people running for Consul are: Conmcb2, OctavianX, Kloreep, and Togas. BigFree are you still interested in running? I want the elections up tonight.

Thanks NM for clearing that up. I was only going to run if there was an empty spot. I wanted to make sure this game gets off the ground. I'm glad there's more than 3 running.

So VERY sorry, but i regretfully have to pull out for the running of Minister of Information. I really wanted to do this. I thought I would have more time to participate, but now that is not too certain. So i didn't want to try and squeeze it in as i may let down the team if I can't end up doing it. Sorry all. I still wish to remain as a part of the team, just not as a full-time ministerial role.

There was some discussion earlier about rotating the Ministers similar to rotating the counsels. If that is something we want to do then we need to discuss it probably in another thread.
