Issues
1) What should we build in Deep Dark Dungeon?
I was thinking temple/libary/grainary

2) Do we make a deal with GS for New Madrid and Barcelona. GS is leaving BOB this turn and will abandon them otherwise. What deal will we make. I'd be willing to give chem/lux for it.

3) RP needs to be dealt with, we need to get a yes or no on peace. If it is a no on peace will we get GS to destroy them or will we request permission to move through. We have a galley in poistion to moves troops across.

Do not let those cities be abandoned, we need them, esp for negotiating with ND. Give 'em luxes for it, and as a last resort chemistry but hopefully not.

I think GS will want to protect RP as much as possible on Estormia. They will surely not allow us to land, our best hope is to pressure them to take RP out.

Is RP only on Estonia? I would be willing to support peace once ND and us are the only civs on Bob, simply because it would make us look better internationally.

I'm all for peace and GS did say they would "make them make peace".

On the city front, I'm sure they will want Chemistry or maybe astro. We need to email Lego to see if we can get astro and then trade it for the cities.

I PM'ed him to tell him to hold the turn until we can discuss what we'll give for those cities.

also, Vox wants Chivalry for Printing Press as well as compensation for the extra cost. However, PP is pretty much a worthless tech to us since we already forfeited JS Bach's. I suggest we PM them back and telling them for a straight trade.

Wow, we seem divided on this issue. In that case we need more time for a decison. I like the idea of getting those cites and the lux's barcelona provides. On the other hand with a grainary, new cities could build up fairly quickly. They will be fairly corrupt until a FP is built by ND down there. Also since this deal saves ND and not us, we could say that this applies toward the resettlement and developement help that we are planning for ND. On a issue like this I believe either we move together or we don't move. So as know, no deal.

Ok, me and aggie talked last night and agreed to Chemistry as long as they gave us a free lux (and the cities of course). I thus PMed Cort with this but apparently they misunderstood the deal and think the lux deal is furs for wines.

I see some people are uneasy at the chemistry issue so I will delay in replying until we have reached a consensus (I hate that word).

No. They want chemistry, and we're not going to give it to them. This is our chance to shoot ahead of them in technology, don't waste it on a couple cities that can and should be rebuilt!
