Tired of ads?

Ok, scheduled for completion next turn:

Worker in Izz
Barracks in Ciao
Chariot in Silesia.

Therefore, I'd say hold off on revolution until after the production phase next turn, Cort. Do you agree?

Tech: select HBR, pop hut. Revolt. Set Plymouth to a scientist.

I know The Plan is getting a little screwy, and my orders don't extend much into the future. I'll deal with that soon - probably as soon as we come out of anarchy into republic. That turn we should probably sit on until both of us have a chance to open it and look around a bit.

We will also soon have to decide what to do with our regular warriors. The conscripts we clearly disband - they're not worth keeping. But the regulars could be upgraded to swordsmen and be somewhat useful... the question becomes is it worthwhile, and if so, how many of them do we upgrade? I count about 5 regular warriors from your screenshots. Three of them on are picket duty in the south, so they stay for a while yet. But the garrisons in Ciao & Silesia are just going to be eating up GPT once we're in republic.

Hmm, Burundy says 6 turns to barracks. We're going to need to switch it over to a placeholder soon (use a courthouse).

Enter the AD-FREE zone

As for worker actions in the future, what do you think of the following:

The team on Cov77 can go mine the roaded hill near Burundy next. The Stooges can keep roading/mining hills in the Silesia/Swindon area. The team 8 of Izz can either do more hills in that area or deal with some undeveloped grassland in the same area.

We probably need some irrigation in the Swindon/Silesia area. Also, we might consider irrigating Coventry8.

And soon, we must consider dealing with the jungle :shudder:

Ok, I'm now wavering on the next city site. 2211 of Swindon is looking better again.

True, no free aqueduct, but that city won't be crossing size 6 for a long ass time anyway, because of the jungle. The hill provides a better defensive bonus and keeps our borders locked.

We still have time to build the city at Swindon 2211. What do you think?

I think I was wrong to push for 22111.

Next city site after this one: Ciao 112 (forest tile by cow). Sound good?

Yes to the proposed moves on getting Republic.

Yes to both city sites, and the worker moves.

There might be a need to have some warriors for local barb duty once the army is on the march, but they can be spat out in an instant by then, so I guess disband - unless they can be useful hiding Python's road team from 'Cheetah'.
