	Proposal: Ministry of Internal Information Support Apolyton, buy Alpha Centauri

It's rather obvious we need a little more reform as we more on toward a better Hive. I propose the creation of a new Ministry under the authority of the CCC: The Ministry of Internal Information.

That's just a formal name for a position for a person who summarizes things for use by Hiverian citizens. The idea is that this person will create and keep up-to-date a topped reference thread.

This thread would have all sorts of information for all citizens of the Hive. From diplomatic stances (Drones - permi-pact, etc.), government organization (links to constitution, etc.), domestic summaries (general statement of current strategy, etc.), and other generalized information that any Hive citizen would useful.

Thoughts? Volunteers?

This has been proposed a couple of times. Unfortunately nobody wants the job.

I personally feel that I work so close to the details that you would get bits and pieces of zoomed up information instead of a good summary. Well that's my excuse for not doing it.

At Voltaire's prompting, I've created a Foreign Relations Summary thread. This is the kind of thing I was looking for. I'd really appreciate (as I'm sure some newbies would) it if someone did the same for domestic information.

This weekend, I may also put together an index of important links, if someone at least thinks that's a good idea.

Micha and I have been maintaining the covert report. It has been trying to accomplishing partially what you are suggesting here Comrade Oct. Maybe it can be incorporated into your initiatives.
