the turks were pretty civilized to acropolis. the only damage they ever did was when we had surrunded it during the war of liberation and had cornerned some of them there. they run out of ammo and started tearing down the leed joints to make bullets for their weapons. that's the only damage they ever did and it was for survival.
the greeks actually gave them bullets in order not to tear down the leeds.
the present fireworks are the work of a spanish pyrotehcnin expert forgot his name, very talantded
