Nationality is pretty stupid. Take Italy as an example. If you were born in Italy around 1 AD, you were a Roman. Now you're called Italian. If you were born in France around 1 AD, you were a Gaul. Now you are French. If you were born in America around 1 AD, you were some sort of tribe. Now you are an American.

So whats the difference between people's? It just the government that happens to inhabit that land at that specific time. Thats the ONLY thing which makes you an American. If the Native Americans had some territory left to call their own, and you were born on it, you would be called after whatever tribe they were.

People have a natural urge to organise in groups(families, villages, towns, etc.), and other people(kings/warlords/Bushs/Huseins/senets/etc.) are greedy and take advantage of the weak by turning them into sheep. If nations ceased to exist tomorrow then by Tuesday I would be a king, cause Im one of those greedy people.

Back in the day your family name meant something, nowadays its your Nationality. Rest asured I prefer this way (if I ever introduced you to my extended family you would understand)

For the moment, I oppose a single unified government purely because, were such a democracy overthrown, humanity would be royally and perhaps permanently screwed.
