	questions about new units Remove this text

just started trying to add new units. before I go through the trouble of the modmakers tutorial, I need to know if those steps are still necessary for PTW or C3C, and if CIV3COPYTOOLS is still needed( and where in files I can find it).

C3MT can be found in the Files section.

The steps needed are

1) Add unit in editor
2) Place folder, files, and .ini in correct location
3) Edit the pediaicons.txt file

that is from the original post regardint unit creation.

which word processor would that be, thought I had that program, but cannot open required txt file.

I have a very rudimentery knowledge of this stuff, please explain in basic terms. I do appreciate the help.

Start Menu -> Accessories -> Notepad works for text files. Pretty much all Windows computers have it.
