It's that time of year again...

Up for grabs is notyoueither's seat and the duration of this term is from January 2004 to the April 2004 elections.

Please post your intention of running for consul this month or nominate someone who you think would do a good job, and who knows, they might just accept.

Ohhh, now I'm gonna blush. Thank you very much for your kind words, Arne, WB, MZ, vonD. You especially, vonD. Your efforts at the beginning showed the way, and made it easy to be a good Consul by following your example.

Don't worry, I will not be too far. I'll prolly just find some hobbitses and smoke some... *ahem* cigarettes, yes cigarettes.

I'll still chip in with ideas, and sometimes about the mechanics. Hopefully I'll be more right than I was about WW. Heh.

I'll never be too far, so I'm sure I'll pop up from time to time to make a nuisance of myself; more for our enemies than my friends, I hope.

I'm up for it if he's up for it, it would make the elections pretty damn exciting

Plus, whatever the result, it would be pretty much a win-win situation as I know Togas would make a phenomenal consul (and I'd be a Consul or Minister either way)

Yes indeedy - I remember those days of whipping the Ministers into shape finding the right balance for Consul, Minister and member in this game with you and vonD

The team only got through those tumultuous days of badly needed reorganisation thanks in a large part to your efforts as well as vonD's huge contributions. And all this time later, we are so far along, and the vision we dreamed up has been largely achieved .

Cheers for sticking with it all this time until the Apolyton Long Term Strategy Plan had been achieved (OVERachieved!), and the First War is effectively over.

Those are some BIG shoes to fill....

BF - I am glad you have not been remembering to quote me in that chatroom...

Oh, and Togas - two months from now you say you will be running?
