Tis not an empty dream all those things are simple pleasures of life. Cheesecake is easy to find, so are puppies, your mother, father, a sunrise, or sunset. However the naked mud wrestling might be a little tricky

Happiness is temporary. Give up trying to have it. Give up needing it. Give up being sad when you don't have it.

Instead, find something important to do, and just do it. Once you've gotten into the routine of that thing, make that thing give your life meaning. Doesn't have to be happiness, just has to be meaningful.

Technically, yes. Which is why you have to find something important. It's hard to do, I know. But it's worth it if you can.

I found something important, but unfortunately, it's something that most people don't really give a damn about, so I'd have a hard time convincing you of what I say.

Well Coldwizard, why would you choose the ill you don't know over the ill you do?

As for Lorizael, I tend to agree more with Solzhenitsyn. He says that happiness is something that cannot be taken away from a man. You can strip him of all his properties and possessions, yet he will still have his happiness.

I tend to think that happiness is a thing found only in humans, and that all humans eventually die; thus, happiness is transient.

I also think that Solzhenitsyn should probably define happiness before he goes and says lots of things about it. It's just a word, people. I don't understand why everyone gets all uppety about it.
